Thoughts
Thank goodness, this movie is a return to form - well the form applicable to the Nativity movies anyway. It was really quite enjoyable, and moving in places, and actually has a timely story about immigrants and just treating people as human beings even in times of trouble.
Thankfully, unlike the previous film, the plot pretty much stacks up. There are just two problems: I guess we’re not supposed to notice that Jerry is the same guy as the Christmas elf in the previous film, and then I don’t really buy the dad finding the red balloon. Nice idea, completely impossible.
But otherwise, it was good and entertaining, and much better than the last.
