2:16Huge cast, Spielberg at the helm, John Williams' music - all signs are good so far!
4:56I don't understand what that game show is about. Like an odd version of Blind Date?
9:58Big Bang Theory have properly ruined Christopher Walken for me.
15:54Those little bank meetings are all so open, anyone could hear!
18:41"To the moon!"
21:24Ha, love the concept of parents getting called in because the boy is teaching the class.
34:41That's scary how easy it was to get a uniform.
37:21Taking a sticker off a toy is actual genius.
42:46Elizabeth actual Banks!
43:55"You mean those numbers on the bottom of a cheque actually mean something?"
50:35That is a funny joke, even without a punchline.
56:42"The position of being humiliated." Too late!
57:57Yay, film within a film.
1:03:37Pink washing isn't going to help with the humiliation side of things.
1:05:20"People only know what you tell them."
1:15:10I KNEW you could learn how to be a doctor by watching Casualty.
1:23:47Totally love Martin Sheen, but I have no idea why.
1:32:53"Do you have a good lawyer?" "Well, I sort of am a lawyer now."
1:37:11You don't really get to call a truce with the FBI.
1:57:35So love the Boston accent. Surrendered of his own accard.
2:10:20Must be quite the adjustment. High-flying adventures to boring office job.

Thoughts

The trouble with this film is that Mr C was adamant that I've seen it before and I was sure that I hadn't and so pretty much all the way through we were arguing and debating about who was right.

When I could concentrate long enough to watch the film, I really liked it. The audacity of Frank and how ridiculously easy it was for him to get away with his tricks - it's that age old thing of just having the confidence so that everyone else believes you too.

Tom Hanks was great as always, and somehow you manage to be rooting for both sides at the same time - the screwed up kid who is breaking the law but isn't exactly a criminal, and the tough but fair detective chasing him.

I'm still confident that I hadn't seen it before, but I'm glad I have now!
