0:49Have had to get over my snake thing with this set of films, jeez.
5:00"Merlin's beard!"
8:26With broomsticks, you probably get a better view the higher you go.
13:27Honestly one of the best things about these films is the ever-growing awesomeness of the cast.
15:34The good thing about owls is not having to use post codes.
26:50The crucio one is the worst.
32:19I wonder how it chooses out of those names thrown in. Like the sorting hat, I guess.
39:03Ooh Ronald, they grow up so fast.

46:48"I'm not an owl."
53:00Mad-eye Moody certainly has the mad part going well.
1:01:14Their castle looks suspiciously like it's made out of mdf.
1:07:11"Well-mannered frivolity." The best kind.
1:14:38"You know I like it when they walk.” This teenage angst stuff is great.
1:22:59It's like Dawson's Creek but with wizards.
1:40:59So hard to take Trigger seriously. So hard.
1:46:59Need a penseive too. Time turner and Penseive please.
1:54:00God, and I thought the Longleat maze was bad.
2:05:35Poor Cedric.
2:08:51It's like wizard arm wrestling.

Thoughts

After watching this one, we decided it was the best so far and with the benefit of hindsight can conclude it is the best of all of them. With the kids now old enough to start being teenagers and trying to fathom the workings of the opposite sex, it really was like Dawson's Creek on broomsticks.

Ron, in particular, had some funny lines but both he and Harry trying to get dates to the dance was brilliant. Considering the way the film ends, it's going to get a lot more serious from here on out, so it's nice to have a bit of fun with the characters while we still can.

I liked the depiction of the Triwizard Tournament, but it was clearer than ever in this one the amount of stuff that had to be cut out to make the film even a slightly manageable length. Mr C started to have more and more questions, having not read the books, so whilst still fantastically enjoyable, I think the cracks were starting to show.
