1:31"I don't give a damn about my baad reputation." As Mr C would say, choooon.
3:38I think I'll start dismissing people like that. "Scoot."
9:36"Money I've got, this I'm going to do for fun."
9:49Bless baby Levitt.
12:55Look at the size of these houses! Good grief.
17:33Extreme dating as a sport, more or less scary than jumping out of a plane?
20:34As much as I love teen movies, they mostly make me think how glad I am not to be at school anymore!
27:41"You won't know what you want until you're 45..."
32:28What is that giant statue thing under the bridge?
41:44I feel the friend's unfathomable mix of nervous and excited.
47:59Bianchi should be careful what she wishes for. She wanted her sister to go out.
49:45"Who needs affection when I have blind hatred?"
49:58Sitting on a swing can't be good when you're drunk and potentially concussed.
1:04:23I would so fall down the bleachers.
1:07:54Pedalo-ing seems like an energetic date.
1:09:46Paintballing! Haven't they seen Byker Grove?
1:14:11How do two sisters go to prom at the same time? I thought it was a graduation year thing.
1:14:41Dawson's River Kids reference!
1:21:16Argh, I hate the moments where they should tell the truth and they don't. ARGH!
1:32:56If there was a band on the roof, school would have been very different.

Thoughts

Love this film. I've seen it maybe a couple of times before, although I couldn't remember all the specifics about it. Mr C hadn't seen it before, and as we were in the mood for something that wouldn't take too much attention, a classic teen rom-com was ideal!

The soundtrack is what really gets this film moving, some really great songs, a good story - adapted from Shakespeare - and a handful of good performances. I was a little staggered at how Heath Ledger clearly paved the way for numerable Hemsworths. It could absolutely have been Thor trying to woo Julia Stiles.

Anyway, loved it.
