1:45Cor, straight into the action here.
3:17I like an action hero with a cold. They're not superhuman after all?
7:23"You didn't forget, which means you probably love me."
11:48Ohh, not a cold then. That's less good.
17:15Jules seems so nice, it would be hard to throw him out. But he did paint the room yellow. YELLOW.
23:56"It's so purple."
27:49Love that she had the research results right there. She knew he'd ask.
39:32What a dignified way to end up. Sprawled on the floor drinking vodka from the bottle.
41:34Every time the purple bike appears on screen, the bell rings, even if no one pushes it. Weird.
50:06Fatherly advice.
57:31Dude just headbutted a croissant. Such a Paris fight.
1:03:49I do love a good silencer.
1:05:41He's my bodyguard!!
1:14:57Crikey, that was a whole load of genius.
1:17:32"Hello. I am Guido."
1:25:13Wonder how long it took to get that take with the Eiffel Tower flashing its lights behind him?
1:38:06Just realised it's weird that she's smoking. No one does that anymore.
1:45:25Every time he gets close to this man, he collapses. It's like his Kryptonite.

Thoughts

I thought this was going to be your run of the mill action story, with an older CIA operative doing what he does and probably going rogue at some point. It was Kevin Costner, though, and I was willing to give it a go.

Turns out, it was far better than I thought. Interesting story, tough but understandable characters and some really nice shots throughout - Paris, you know how it is. There were  a few irritants, his illness and the treatment didn't really make sense and I wish that Amber Heard could have been a powerful woman without having to dress in skin-tight leather all the time.

But overall, very watchable and enjoyable, and a nice surprise to my relatively low expectations.
