Thoughts
I've been looking forward to this and although I feel like it's a bit of a weird time to watch a mystery movie set in the heat of summer on a Greek Island (not so festive!), I had to watch it soon after being released because of spoilers. I'm glad I had to make the effort though because it was as brilliant as expected.
The best thing about the Knives Out movies is the structure - instead of plodding along following a detective to a conclusion, you see some action, then revisit the same action with more information and then get a conclusion with all the layers you've been witnissing coming together. It's fabulous.
Incredible cast, a good story that maybe doesn't quite cover every plot hole the same way the first movie did, and lots of fun along the way including great cameos and poking fun at eccentric billionaires. Loved it.
