1:40Written by Adam Sandler. That did not bode well in the last film.
3:57Chutes and ladders? What happened to the snakes?
6:20Even in grief, the child should be told off for taking the car.
8:47Remind me never to try hot rocks to relax.
10:15Kissing on the cheek is always awkwards.
12:29The S.S. Melodrama!
15:13"It's a funeral. I get weird."
16:57Is it that they were talented or that the coach was actually rubbish? No other team won.
20:35If you're still counting in months at age 4, there's something a bit wrong.
23:29There are a LOT of people in this film.
25:30I have never heard of clipping a dog's vocal chords. Does that happen?
31:45Bad ref decisions will stick with you for the rest of your life.
37:24That's gross.
40:50They're in a beautiful part of the world. I wonder where.
43:34He put the gross chicken bucket on his head!
45:05Ogling in shifts is genius.
47:23What are they doing, that's an actual arrow?
51:35Kids gotta learn about the tooth fairy someday.
53:55Do cup phones actually work? I'm not sure I ever did it.
56:00HA!
1:02:02Saskatchewan.
1:03:53He turned the water blue!
1:05:58Woah, scariest water ride ever. How do they not crash into the building at the end?
1:07:31"You should wii-turn it and get a wii-fund."
1:09:18I like the idea of doing everyone's first shot for them.
1:14:46The coach conveniently died just in time for the 4th July weekend.
1:21:45This is weird, they're all opening their hearts and forgiving each other. It usually takes a while for that to happen.
1:25:07The kids, they have definitely started to play now.
1:26:23Is watermelon a 4th July thing? Watermelon is yum.
1:34:25He says next basket wins, but one side has to start with the ball so that seems inherently unfair.

Thoughts

The Expendables really played a number on my enthusiasm for films. I was worried that perhaps we'd watched all the good movies and they'd all be like that one from now on. We've been pretty lucky with the films we've seen so far. This was going to have to be a good one, for a tired Saturday night, to reignite the enthusiasm.

Perfect film to recover from The Expendables. Just brilliant. It was funny pretty much the entire time, and even though some of it was slapstick, some of it wasn't clever, the way it was constructed was excellent and the verbal back and forths were brilliant. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that there were far too many characters to keep track of, and then just as I was getting the hang of it they added some more. Also, the first five or ten minutes were a bit slow, but once the funeral was over, it really got going.
