2:42Love Alfred Molina doing an accent.
4:21I see, this is blatantly where Tomb Raider came from. Dusty tunnels, flares. Not so much the whip though.
9:33Ooh, the rolling ball. That's famous.
10:59Excellent evil plan laugh.
12:39Snakes on a plane!
19:04Yea! A map with a line on. Love those.
29:29This German guy looks just like the Gestapo out of 'Ello 'Ello.
34:45I like her.
41:17How much chaos can one man cause in Cairo?
56:29She hates him enough as it is, leaving her as their prisoner isn't going to help their relationship.
58:46Worst working conditions ever? Dusty hot desert, now dig.
1:00:51"Why did it have to be snakes?" My thoughts exactly.

1:05:31Oops, that was me hiding from the snakes.
1:08:25Mobile coat hanger is awesome.
1:16:00Their big heavy blocks don't look totally realistic. I call polystyrene.
1:23:53Feel sorry for that horse, it's just been left in the middle of nowhere.
1:33:23"God dammit Indy, where doesn't it hurt?" I like an action hero that shows his war wounds.
1:35:33Ooh, submarine. That makes up for everything.
1:42:36I think Belloc just ate a fly and kept on acting. That's some serious dedication.
1:48:28I'm sorry, I would have had to have opened my eyes at some point during that.

Thoughts

Where to begin with Indiana Jones? I have attempted to watch something of this franchise twice. The first time, I gave up because hello? There was a pit full of snakes. The second time, it was this film, with the shadows in the bar and I was taken aback by the bloody shoot-out. It wasn't what I was expecting and I switched it off, probably putting on a Friends DVD instead.

So, fast forward rather a few more years and I was ready to give it another chance. You can clearly see that I didn't deal so well with the snakes, but I thought the rest of it was pretty entertaining.

Harrison Ford turns out to be quite a good looking chap in his day, which was a surprise to me, and the story was a good adventure.

After we watched it, we then had to watch the Big Bang Theory episode which spoiled it (but thankfully I had forgotten the crux of). Love the whole concept.
