Thoughts

Whenever we watch a film that doesn't go so well, the immediate reaction is to turn to a known gem, and Practical Magic is one of those. I remember it from when I was younger, who doesn't love a version of Dawson's Creek only with magic? It has small-town drama, romantic tensions, a great nineties soundtrack, and all with bonus magic on top.

The only downside is that Sandra Bullock is a far better actress than Nicole Kidman and it has never been more obvious than in all these scenes they have together. Oof. Plus, it was very distracting to see ghostly Luka doing his thing. Time to watch ER again, I think!
