Thoughts

Watched this trailer so long ago that I'd forgotten about it, and so it was a surprise when the film was suddenly available on iTunes. Looked reasonable, and if I have to watch a romantic comedy style film, then let it be about spies!

We've got in the habit of looking at the Reception#Reception) bit on Wikipedia for films after we've watched them, just to see how much we disagree with the world at large. This one appeared to be universally hated, so it won't come as a surprise to find that we quite enjoyed it! It was absolutely ridiculous, plot holes and flaws galore, but it was funny and had some charm to it at the same time. The banter between the boys was excellent, I wasn't as keen on the girls stuff.

I was irritated at the ending, but I think it was the kind of film where I would have been annoyed whichever way it had gone. It was well done, even if it wasn't necessarily what I wanted.

I'm not going to argue it was a good film, but it was definitely an enjoyable 90 minutes.
