I'm pretty sure I saw this game via an ad in another game. I don't usually take much notice of them but this one appealed - pretty colours, bit of logic applied, and worth a try. I've been playing for a couple of weeks now.

I'll be honest, the ants are a little bit creepy. If you have an aversion to insects, you might not get along with this very well. But for me, it's easy to ignore that because the gameplay is so addictive. It's deceptively simple, tap the colours, put the ants to work, hope you can clear the board. But in reality, there's a little bit of strategy and logic required, particularly in the levels labelled Hard and Super-Hard. The number of times I've had to retry because I end up stuck, the colour options I have for ants do not match what is available on the board. Annoying but at the same time, motivating to find a way to make it work. This time it will, it will!

The ads aren't too intrusive, you can pay to get rid of them but if you don't, there's one after every level so it never affects gameplay. Also, you can just quit the app during the ad and re-open, landing right back on the menu screen to start the next level.

Thoughts

The game speaks to something in me and has become entirely addictive. I'm about to hit level 200, but glancing at the high score tables, there could be about 1800 to get through, so I'm going to be here for a while, tapping those ants, clearing the colours, skipping the ads. If you don't hear from me for a while, that's what I'm doing.
