Thoughts

I was a bit nervous about this album, massive Shania fan that I am, because all the build up to it and the concept pointed towards hardcore old school country. Actually, although it is much more country than the last few albums, it's not twee and it's very listenable. A couple of guest artists anchor the beginning, middle and end of the story, and it's a good album. Probably not one I'm going to reach for very often but certainly nothing like what I was expecting (dreading).
