Thoughts

Once again, we have a Charli xcx album to review. I love her, I really do, but you never quite know what you're going to get and sometimes it's brilliant, sometimes unlistenable. Thankfully, this one fits the former - proper pop songs, but with a slightly antsy feeling that fits Charli perfectly. It feels like we're talking about bigger concepts, particularly the final track with No One Lasts Forever. I think that loop goes on a bit too long, moving from haunting to irritating, but generally speaking this is a classy album and I liked it.
