Thoughts
I tend to enjoy Panic! at the Disco music but this album doesn't work for me at all. There are a handful of good songs in there but what really annoyed me was the variety. It's like they took a million different music ideas and threw them into an album - different instruments, different styles, every single song was nothing like what had gone before.
The whole point of this album adventure was to prove that an album should be a united body of work rather than a compilation of various songs and I think this album has fallen off that wagon.

Revisited - Feb 2024
I only recognised one song off this album and if I'm being perfectly honest, the rest of it didn't quite gel for me. It feels like the band weren't really sure what kind of album they were going for and dipped into a new genre each track completely at random. Maybe roll a dice and it came up country, roll a dice and it came up baroque? Who knows? Listenable but not one I'd seek out again.
