Thoughts

I knew I was going to love this film, having watched the trailer a gazillion times and giggled to myself at the big, puffy, Michelin-man style Baymax trying to squeeze through a gap far too small for him. I'm glad I wasn't disappointed, as there's always the possibility that kids films don't work for adults too - thankfully, this was brilliant.

Great characters, some nice emotional highs and lows, some great quips as well as a beautiful setting. I very much wish San Fransokyo was a real city because it looked amazing. The animation was strong, the comic book background well translated, and you could tell there was the hand of Pixar in this Disney film, although neither Pixar nor Marvel put their names to it.

An enjoyable film with plenty of rewatch value - particularly with the cute Baymax scenes. When he let out air to fit through the window, I nearly died laughing. Fab.
