4:38So there are bad guys within the bad guys already!
6:30"I'd IVF you a baby." New verb.
8:35Gah, never take paper off a stranger. Served!
13:07I wouldn't be happy about a back stairs joining my flat to another like that.
14:47All those twenties. Mmmm.
18:36"He watched a lot of television." I really don't want that to be my defining characteristic after I go.
20:25Love Tom Wilkinson.
28:12How do gangsters keep coming up with such bizarre ways to torture people?
37:30It's fun watching an actor playing a character who has to act/lie.
42:18"Those that resisted felt his full fury." That rolls off the tongue nicely. Felt his full fury.
49:27Like a promise from a guy like this means anything anyway.
51:16It's refreshing for a cop to be like, nah, you're going to prison, end of.
55:54How do they know the bad guys aren't watching them talk to the police?
57:45Doing yoga in the park seems like a nice idea, but it's a bit busy and distracting.
58:53That went south so quickly.
1:05:51Do I get the feeling it's about to go very Home Alone?
1:10:53Falling onto spikes is so Tomb Raider. Amazing.
1:14:50They all know to put pressure on their wounds except for Franco.

Thoughts

I was looking forward to this but yet again Mr Franco doesn't quite manage to deliver. The trailer looked far more exciting than the end result was. It was entertaining enough, and a passable way to spend 90 minutes but it felt quite contrived and a bit of a mish-mash of other, better films.

Tom Wilkinson was good, but sadly there wasn't an awful lot of chemistry between Franco and Hudson and there wasn't really enough time to get to know the characters too well before they started mixing with the bad guys.

Not the worst film ever, but not particularly special or memorable.
