Thoughts

I loved this. Things I didn't like include the fact it's so long, the fact that it's hard to take Ade Edmondson seriously in something like this, and really anything that had to do with Snoke. Otherwise, I loved it.

There was something different about it compared to the other films, in that there wasn't such a clear distinction between good and bad. It wasn't just 'believe us, there's still some good in him' like it was with Darth Vader. In Ben/Kylo, we've seen it with our own eyes and that makes a difference. And Luke's moment of madness shows that even good people can do/consider doing bad things.

Princess Leia, Rey and Rose rule this movie for me and I loved that Poe, whilst brilliant, wasn't allowed to just get away with being a superhero all the time. And that in the end, it wasn't really him that saved the day.

Long, but packed with good Star Wars content, this was a worthy addition to the saga.
