On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, ambitious politician David Norris meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas — a woman like none he’s ever known. Thoughts
I was excited to see this one when I first saw the trailer, and waited impatiently for it to appear on iTunes. It has Matt Damon, it has a fascinating story, and it looks very well made. It had better not disappoint.
I really enjoyed this film. The story is excellent, and any time I had a question it was usually answered in the next few minutes. I loved them together, witty dialogue and great chemistry. It seemed odd that they hit it off so immediately, but again, the film explained that too!
I didn't particularly like the ending, it felt a bit weak, and it turns out they had rewritten and reshot it several months after finishing the rest. We may or may not have watched the end again to see how different Matt Damon looked.
Nevertheless, overall a great success, and I learnt lots of things like not trusting people in hats and the best way to open doors.
