| 1:20 | You can’t go to a race hoping to see a crash, that’s awful. |
| 5:03 | The nuts and bolts wouldn’t just turn like that though, would they? |
| 7:49 | They’ve ramped up the gore so it’s like a cartoon, I’m kind of glad of that though! |
| 14:44 | Hunt is a proper asshole character. |
| 17:54 | Having visions of the other deaths is new, isn’t it? |
| 21:22 | Also the death kind of fitting the crime! |
| 27:10 | I do love the random stuff all happening to make you guess. |
| 28:23 | Imagine those two boys witnessing their mother’s death like that. Awful. |
| 31:46 | “Would it kill you to be sensitive?” “I don’t know, I never tried it.” |
| 47:04 | Hmm, I don’t like car washes anyway, I might look away. |
| 51:24 | I was going to say surely just drowning is too tame for this movie… and I was right. Gross. |
| 1:04:15 | “It’s not coming out, JANET.” Don’t know why, I just enjoyed the way she said that. |
| 1:18:10 | Not sure why they think it’s all solved now. |
Thoughts
Wow, this was objectively terrible. I stumbled across this after powering through the first three movies a few years ago. They were available on HBO Max and I'm glad I didn't fork out anything specific for this one because oof, it's bad. They've taken the great idea of Final Destination and turned it into a cartoon essentially. The graphics are bad, the gore is next level but completely unbelievable, and the characters don't have a chance to develop at all. Other than the racist and the objectionable friend, they are bland and undefineable. I don't know if Final Destination 5 is any better, I'm still going to watch it, obviously!
