1:00Hehehe, starting with Mr Potato Head is a good plan.
2:14Huh. I didn't think you ever saw the kid.
6:56I remember that weird grey paper stuff. You draw, then lift and it clears.
9:40I'm sure I stole and/or was handed down some of those little green army things from my brother.
14:30"Well, that mistake is sitting in your place."
18:02Considering they were all worried about being replaced, you'd think they'd be a bit more sympathetic to Woody's feelings.
19:29To Infinity, and Beyond!!
19:50There's a troll!
25:45Where does a kid get a stick of explosive from anyway?
26:45Magic 8 balls never give you the answer you want.
32:46I don't think arguing underneath a car is a good plan. Far too much chance of getting squished.
33:36"You are a sad, strange little man."
35:17I want to go to Pizza Planet.
38:36No one ever wins anything on the claw.
38:55And he manages to pick up two??
42:54Sid is weird, sure, but creative at least.
43:46Poor kid losing two toys in one day.
48:49I hope children didn't try to fly down the stairs after watching this.
55:20Oh, he's buying mail order rockets. Weird.
1:01:54That kid slept in his clothes and then woke up, with the first thing on his mind as rockets not breakfast.
1:04:35That's an awesome plan.
1:07:45I love the toy coming out of the sandpit.
1:10:10"He's at it again!"
1:15:37The child would notice that they weren't right on top when he packed the box.
1:17:46A puppy! In a box?

Thoughts

Yay for Toy Story! I've seen this before but so long ago that I can only vaguely recall the details. Actually, I'll be honest, I couldn't remember much at all. But hey, with the third film released recently, we thought it best to catch up the series again to know all that was going on. Plus, have you seen the length? Nowhere near two hours - woohoo!

Aww, it was good. It amazes me that this film is 16 years old because it still looks amazing. In the trivia, there were some notes about things they couldn't animate - hair and water being two prime ones. We know they sorted hair because they did Monsters Inc, and we know they sorted water because they did Finding Nemo. Even with those technical difficulties, though, Toy Story is missing nothing. There's a great story, plenty of heart, fabulous characters and a happy ending. I don't have any real complaints but I wasn't quite ecstatic enough to award this a five.
